Kissane Viola Design is looking for a front-end website developer proficient in HTML/CSS and JavaScript in the Roaring Fork Valley. This position will require some in-person and virtual meetings and presents the opportunity to work on team-based projects in a variety of areas, including front-end web development of Wordpress and Shopify websites, mobile development, server-side JavaScript programming, user experience, content migration and content development. You will participate in all aspects of the website development lifecycle while solving challenging technical problems for our clients.

Role and Responsibilities:
· Create effectively tested, re-usable, and efficient JavaScript code
· Develop mission critical user experiences
· Support continuous improvement by staying up-to-date on front-end technology
· Work collaboratively with a team in an agile environment

Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as custom Wordpress and Shopify theme development
· Knowledge of modern web technologies, such as CSS, Typescript/ES6, Less/Sass, HTML5
· Familiarity with Git Experience working in an agile environment as part of a cross-functional team
· Strong communication skills
· SVG animation skills a plus
· UX experience, wireframes, and sitemap design a plus
